The Pirate Legend Trek and Trail Lynn MA The Pirate Legend Trek and Trail are popular Scout hiking areas combining flat terrain and gentle rolling hills. Appealing features include the swampy areas that abut the trails, the rocky outcrops that afford distant views of the Boston Skyline and the Atlantic Ocean, the large number of big rock and bolder formations to climb on, over, around and between, and several small streams that are crossed on log bridges.

See Science Center See Science Center in Manchester, NH. Hands-on science museum on two floors in an old mill building. Comments: About an hour of activity here if that, mostly for PK-4. The robotics classroom, FIRST Place, is on the second floor of this building. There may be some joint programs in the future.

Yankee Siege Trebuchet 56ft high, 40,000lb. steel and oak trebuchet (not a catapult) hurls 80lb pumpkins at castle 800ft away. Rt 31 Greenfield, NH (north of Wilton,NH). Demonstrations from 12:00 pm to 4:00pm every Saturday and Sunday from the end of September to the end of October. Free. 603-547-6421.
